Nice. Is there an easy way to convert stuff to Flash?
Here's my latest Thunderhill. (247 crank hp. Toyo RA1's. Blah blah blah.) Mic was disconnected, you you're going to get blaring rock. CCW Cyclone and CCW Bypass, with a little traffic

PIR (Portland)
I tried 2 weeks ago to get a decent video and failed and the track day sucked. I should have better video (track day June 15th) and hopefully a couple of clean laps. I will post them up.
Stock engined 06 Evo IX Sway bar 255 RA1 brake pads and fluid I'm hoping for something around 1:28-1:30 (w/chicane)...let's see how close i get!

At PIR? Is that shortcutting the last corner onto the front straight or with the full carousel?

With the chicane last track day I turned ~1:30. It's hard to tell as I was using a camcorder, but my buddy was filming from the grandstands and said that was about what he timed on his camcorder too on my one free lap of the 3rd session. Like I said there were a million people in our run group. ![]() The corners with the words 'Festival' above them are only ones I have ever seen taken out of track. I have only run the track once like that. As far as the time I could be wrong. I will look at my last video again. But, I'm pretty sure that is what I was running. I have no idea what a reasonable time is on that track for a car like mine.

Waterford Hills, new personal best of 1:18's.
First time out for the year. Track was rained heavily day before, and had oilspill from race on Paddock curve... Playing conservative on a few corners (Swamp), as it was drizzling out. Overall, I am excited with the new times, especially with track conditions. p.s. Z06 Vette owner stated 620fwhp (so low 500's rwhp is more like it). hahaha.edit: Yeah, so I made a mistake. I looked at lot closer at the video now. It's hard since I only really got a single free lap per session, but the best lap my third session looks like about 1:33-1:34. Sorry about that.

Here is my submission
I got one free lap last track day. Here is that one free lap. It starts entering turn 12 at PIR.
http://www.box.net/index.php?rm=box_..._id=f_71201985 Lewis I owe you some more description: Car: Stock engine 2006 evo IX, stock struts and springs, shaved RA1 255/40/17, 25mm adjustable sway bar on full stiff Video: 7.8Megs. 320X240. *.mov. 1 semi-fast lap of PIR Portland International Raceway. I screwed up the 5-6 transition and unfortunately didn't get to track out as far as I would normally out of 6. Other then that it's a pretty clean run. Let me know if you want more description of the track, certain corners, etc.

<unsolicited opinion>
Looks great Erik, I don't see anything that I would do significantly different. You were just a touch wide in 6 and 7- maybe "slow down to go fast" at the entry to 6 and then use all of the track on the exit. On 7, maybe turn in just a tiny bit earlier and just touch the curbing on the exit. Oh, and you can probably be somewhat faster through 10 and 11, but that is some serious pucker factor back there. </unsolicited opinion>

That track map is outdated. The chicane turns are now numbered, and T1 on that map is now T4. PIR is being reconfigured again late this summer- turn 6 is being moved 50 feet to the west, and there are plans for some sort of bypass which will allow them to run two separate courses simultaneously... somehow. A vehicle bridge over T8 also is supposedly in the works, which will be a welcome feature.
Back on topic- Gary, you are one lucky SOB.

It's been two days since the charity enduro race and I can't stop thinking about it. What a blast that was!
I'm working on a video of my full stint in the race with a front and rear camera. The file is going to be huge, though. Gary Sheehan Motor Racing www.garysheehan.com |

Tried out the roof cam for these, about 7-8MB each. Sorry the sound only comes out one channel, only one mic with stereo recording. Check out the tires through the new hood/vents.

Autobahn CC South Video?
I found John's video of the full course (thanks!), but would also appreciate any others that may be available for download. I'll be doing the NASA HPDE July 21-22 (south course), and could use all the help I can get.
Thanks, Cliff |

Have some thunderhill vids I don't think I have posted yet::
Best of 2:02 with bypass, 2:05 over the top, shooting for under 2:00 with bypass this year, with more tire and some real suspension. 2005 Evolution MR, R-compounds, 320whp (mustang dyno) in most of the earlier videos, 355whp in the last couple videos. November 06. Cold, slippery (but open!) track: http://www.norcalmotorsports.org/use...erhill/111706/ December 06, rained earlier, still a little wet in some sections: http://www.norcalmotorsports.org/use...erhill_121106/ April 07, nice day, tried out a different camera mounting area. Was good for watching my hands more, never realized I wipe them off so much! But the angle made the car seem slower. Oh well. http://www.norcalmotorsports.org/use...erhill/042307/

Here's my fastest lap (1:28.989) at Laguna Seca in the McLaren M6B. Too much rear brake bias made things exciting in the Corkscrew.

I have a place to put videos if you guys want me to put up the videos. The website will be wack at first, but I will promise to work on it. I'm not sure if the bandwith will be great, but the amount of diskspace is huge and I won't charge you guys anything!
![]() I will start uploading these videos to my server and create links for them. If you don't your video on my server just let me know. Erik PS: Here is a much higher quality version of one of my other videos. http://thelanderholms.com/videos/evo...orsche_big.mp4 My server is located at a huge hosting facility in Dallas. It's all backed up and is on a pretty beefy box.

I had a 163.9 average going into "the gap" (the canyon section) but then got nailed with a rain storm that kept me at under 90mph for about 5-7 miles. After the storm I was at 148.x and nailed it again. Crossed the first leg finish line at a 154.3 average. We had a 150mph target but we had no intentions of hitting that number. We were looking to go as fast as possible without being DQ'ed. We were shooting for a 158.x average. One of the Super Sport cars crashed REAL bad at about 175mph and the driver went to the hospital in an ambulane and the navigator got a helicopter ride to Elko County General hospital. By the time everything was cleared up it was to late to run the return leg so they scored the event on the first leg. We ended up backing into a 3rd place trophy since there were only 4 entrants in the 150 class. Usually the 150 class has a ton of cars. The 4th entry in the class got DQ'ed for exceeding tech so that threw us into 3rd.
