Funny, I just got an email from Arao a few days ago telling me they were having a sale. I wonder how they knew I had "contemplated" those heads before? A trace from their website?

I'll never say never, but I don't want to be the guinea pig...I'll wait and see what Jordan Musser can do with them first....

I’m sort of late to the party on the ARAO 4-valve heads for the Windsor. After seeing them mentioned on another c-c thread, and searching through some Google results, I can’t seem to find any performance data for these on a Ford stroker small-block. Does anyone have any real-world data on these? Most of the old posts I’ve found on other sites have vague info at best. There are also quite a few stories of people placing deposits and never receiving product.

Is this thing a hoax/scam? Seems like they’d be a perfect fit for a new stroked Boss combo if they actually exist.

I've looked at the prices online for these, and 8k minimum kinda seems a little excessive. Don't Yates heads flow just as well? Not to mention that Yates cost half as much.

On a related note, I turned on the TV in the middle of My Classic Car and they had a feature on Pete Aardema and his creations. He put Subaru heads on a Model A, a chevy V4 in a bike, 928 heads on a big block chevy, and OHC on every V8 it seems. Coool.

When I watched again it was next weeks show. He has a website, flash heavy.

Run away from this con artist! I put a down payment on a set of these 3+ years ago, (they were $3K at the time)and for 7 months I got lied to and jacked around. I had to send in a lawyer to get my money back.

He uses the E-bay "sale" to keep the cash flow going, and I believe the Ford heads do not exist. He has bled at least two investors dry, but still cannot find anyone to put them in production.

Bottom line, this guy is a dick.

Sure all that is cool, but what exactly am I seeing on that big block? Is that a bike stator on the water pump? THAT IS VERY CREATIVE!
