mustang 3 link

i am designing a 3 link coilover for a 66' mustang. it is a straight lower with watts link, i was wondering what the effects off having the lowers spaced inboard of the frame (about 31" c-c) versus around 41". I feel I can have a stronger tie on the inside of the frame rail subframe connector and a bar from the main hoop through the floor atop the frame bracket. I would imagine some extra leverage possibly, but the watts link should control my lateral load so I dont think it would be an issue? I want to have maximum tire clearance.. My link length would be around 30", although I am trying to put together a model or find a way to simulate... Any suggestions? Thanks
